Branched gills on abdomen with 2, 3, or 4 branches; femur on hind leg with many long hairs; hairs across front edge of pronotum uniform in length; 4 distinct plates on top of 3rd thoracic segment; case of thin pieces of wood, bark, and leaves.Body length: 28 mm.
Body: ginger to brown.
Wings: ginger to brown.
Emergence: late summer - early fall.
