All right caddis fans, anybody take a shot at identification of this guy. Color may be a bit washed out, found in pool skimmer this AM and we had shocked (super chlorinate) pool last night. Saw one on window last night but it took off before I could get a picture.

Your pool inhabitant would appear to be Nemotaulius hostilis, a member of caddisfly family Limnephilidae (Northern Casemakers). It is not one of the genera covered in Gary LaFontaine’s book, Caddisflies, but he did list it among those genera, which further research might show instances of importance to trout.
